Managed Network
Managed network infrastructure including routing, switching, Power over Ethernet, centralized management, and structured network connections.
Project Gallery
Visual documentation from networking, systems administration, virtualization, Linux, hardware, and troubleshooting projects.
This gallery provides visual documentation of equipment, configurations, and infrastructure used throughout Headley Lab.
Additional screenshots and project images will be added as the lab continues to expand.
Managed network infrastructure including routing, switching, Power over Ethernet, centralized management, and structured network connections.
Managed network topology showing the gateway, multi-gigabit switching, Power over Ethernet infrastructure, Wi-Fi access points, Omada controller, connected clients, and BatPi Linux server.
Additional view of the network equipment, cabling, and physical infrastructure supporting the lab.
Configured VLAN segmentation for trusted and IoT devices, including controlled communication between network segments.
Active Pi-hole DNS filtering service supporting network clients and processing thousands of DNS queries while blocking unwanted domains. Housed in 3D printed enclosure with cooling fan and LED lighting.
Worked with IPv6 prefix delegation, Router Advertisements, SLAAC, RDNSS, stable server addressing, ICMPv6, and Neighbor Discovery.
Used ping, dig, nslookup, Test-NetConnection, tcpdump, Pi-hole query logs, and firewall inspection to diagnose and correct IPv6 DNS failures.
Raspberry Pi 5 running Debian Linux with remote monitoring, storage, networking, service administration, and system-health management.
Hyper-V lab containing Windows Server, Windows 11, Ubuntu, and Rocky Linux virtual machines for administration, networking, recovery, and troubleshooting practice.
Windows Server 2025 configured with Active Directory Domain Services, DNS, and file and storage services for domain administration, authentication, permissions, and network services.
Hands-on administration using PowerShell, Bash, SSH, services, logs, permissions, networking tools, recovery tools, and automation.
Custom Windows 11 Pro workstation built with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, DDR5 memory, NVMe storage, dedicated Radeon graphics, and hardware virtualization support.
Raspberry Pi 5 ARM Linux server equipped with NVMe storage, wired Ethernet, and DNS filtering, shared storage, backups, monitoring, printing, remote administration, stored in custom encloser for nvme and Poe hat.
Installed and terminated shielded Cat6A Ethernet cabling for wired network connections and wireless access-point backhaul. Tested conductor continuity, pin mapping, and shield grounding with a network cable tester.
